The knickers are a lovely soft cotton like girls school knickers were years ago. I prefer DKs in cotton rather than nylon because I like the vintage feel. A long time ago I used to have an elderly female neighbour who wore DKs. I got to know that because she hung them on her washing line to dry. Never got the opportunity to try them though!
